Introduction to Early Risers'

Welcome to Early Risers' Outdoor Experience, a blog dedicated to sharing my personal experiences in the outdoors. The point of this hub is to discuss a variety of topics, about a variety of different outdoor activities that focus on hunting and fishing. In more detail, the activities I will primarily focus on include whitetail deer hunting, waterfowl hunting, wild turkey hunting, small upland game hunting, migratory bird hunting, and freshwater fishing for numerous species. The topics may consist of skills improvement, information sharing, ethical values, and even an occasional cooking recipe! I intend that the coming posts be open discussions. Whether good, bad, or indifferent, all posts and comments are welcome as long as they are not obscene and disrespectful.

I know there will be a difference in opinions, and I may not see things in the same light as you, but let's respect each others' opinions when sensitive topics arise. If you have been around the hunting and fishing social media scene, you probably already know the topics that set users off. A few topics that come to mind are Bait, Property Rights, Ted Nugent, etc. I will cover some of these controversial topics in the coming months to gather insight on what it is that makes these topics so sensitive to my fellow outdoorsmen, and why they may be sensitive to me.

Keep in mind I do not want this to be just a debate board, but more of an information center for all things hunting and fishing. I plan on posting every month as time allows...I am working a full time job and remodeling a house, so time isn't exactly on my side, but I will do my best to keep it as consistent as possible. When providing hunting tips, informative articles, or fishing stories of previous experiences, I will try to provide some media content to create a better user experience for you. Who knows I may even post actual hunting or fishing video!

One last thing I would like to point out is that many experiences can be highly relevant to your geographical location and environmental surroundings. I always like to keep that into perspective when discussing these topics. What works for me, may not work the same for you, and vice versa.

Enjoy the Experience!
